Asset management
Bridges, tunnels, and highways, but also flood defenses, data centers, and factory machinery, are (infrastructural) assets. When an asset malfunctions, the consequences are significant. This can lead to unsafe or unpleasant situations, traffic jams, or even accidents. To ensure that assets function optimally throughout their entire lifecycle, it's crucial that they are optimally developed, constructed, managed, and maintained. We challenge our clients to consider the functions and performance of an asset from an early stage; an essential prerequisite for effective asset management.
Asset management is customized and people-oriented
Every sector, client, and asset type faces unique challenges. Sometimes an asset doesn't perform as expected, leading to an incident (think of a broken bridge or lock, for example). You might also want (more) control over your assets and a handle on risks and costs. The overarching question is always: how do we ensure an asset continues to deliver the required performance(s) throughout its lifespan, and what does that require?
