Sustainability
Delta Pi aims to operate sustainably. With lower energy consumption and even lower CO2 emissions. Sustainable thinking and acting are important in our work and behavior. We attach great value to minimizing our impact. The CO2 Performance Ladder is an important instrument in this regard. Certification not only helps us take one-off measures but also requires an active policy to continuously work on sustainability. The CO2 Performance Ladder was originally developed by ProRail in 2009 and has been owned and managed by the Foundation for Climate-Friendly Procurement and Entrepreneurship (SKAO)The CO2 Performance Ladder is the leading sustainability instrument in the Netherlands and Belgium that helps companies and governments reduce CO2 and costs.

How does it work?
Clients are increasingly imposing requirements regarding sustainability. The CO2 Performance Ladder is a CO2 management system consisting of five levels. Up to and including level 3, the organization addresses the CO2 emissions of its own organization and projects. From level 4 onwards, efforts are also made to tackle CO2 emissions in the supply chain and sector. Delta Pi focuses particularly on optimizing business assets, through which we constantly try to reduce our energy consumption—provided, of course, that this is within financial and reasonable possibilities. By pursuing an active energy policy, we are constantly working to reduce our CO2 emissions. In doing so, we aim to protect the environment as much as possible.
