The NVRB (Netherlands Association for Risk Analysis and Business Reliability) is considered the leading knowledge platform in our industry and is supported by leading companies in the field of risk analysis and business reliance. It's an association that elevates our sector. Delta Pi is therefore proud that our colleague, Reinder Roos, is a prominent member of the NVRB as a PR board member.
In addition to Reinder's leadership skills, Delta Pi also makes a structural contribution to the professional association. This brings professionals together, shares knowledge, and brings current and relevant topics to the attention of a critical audience.
By organizing substantive discussions at a high level, we contribute to the quality of advice on these topics. This ensures that the NVRB, as well as we at Delta Pi, are always well-informed about market developments.
Risk analysis often underexposed
In this role, we've noticed that risk analyses and operational reliability analyses to support decision-making are often unknown or at least under-researched. This is echoed by our colleagues in government agencies, contractors, and other consulting firms.
That's a shame, because thorough risk analyses paint a clear picture of a (future) situation, and governing means anticipating. This applies to large multinationals, but also to SMEs and even startups. Especially when risk models and business continuity analyses are used to achieve business goals more efficiently.
This practical applicability of risk models in decision-making was also a central theme at the NVRB's seventh anniversary symposium. Here, highly experienced colleagues from various fields shared their lessons learned using concrete examples.
Other lecture evenings will address topics such as "Operational Reliability of Gas Storage in Norg," "Safety and Regulations in Relation to Drone Maintenance," "Electricity Grid Management and Challenges for 2030," and "Replacement of the F-16 Fleet." Risk analysis and operational reliability encompass many facets and add value to a wide variety of companies.
