We are proud to continue our commitment to safe and reliable Dutch infrastructure in the coming years. Together with Rijkswaterstaat, we want to contribute to the necessary and enormous renewal challenge.

Last Tuesday, September 30th, Stef Höppener representing A-Quin, Peter Bakker representing Delta Pi, and Reinoud van Oosten representing RPS attended the kickoff meeting for the new collaboration agreement (SROK) for Project and Process Management (PPB) and Engineering Services (ID). At the Topshuis on the Oosterscheldekering, all parties looked forward with confidence to continuing their intensive collaboration with Rijkswaterstaat for the next four to six years.
The new framework agreements focus on sustainable collaboration, predictable project execution, and enhancing the quality of infrastructure projects. A total of 53 engineering firms support Rijkswaterstaat with knowledge and expertise in developing plans, evaluating solutions, and providing specialized advice. In addition, 36 consultancy firms complement this with expertise in project management, contract management, and integrated safety.
Martin Wijnen, Director General of Rijkswaterstaat, said: "Through intensive collaboration and joint investments in knowledge and expertise, the sector can achieve this major challenge. The longer term of the new agreements provides peace of mind and stability, both for the market and for Rijkswaterstaat. It also increases the scope for structured learning and innovation.".

In his exciting presentation, he also addressed the challenge facing Rijkswaterstaat in the coming period to gain and maintain control over the "real risks" threatening the Netherlands' infrastructure. As a market player, Delta Pi sees an excellent opportunity to leverage its broad advisory services for this purpose and is eager to be involved in the enormous innovation challenge facing the Netherlands.

The RPS consortium (also consisting of Boorsma) has been invited to inspect, research, and advise on plots 1b, 1c, and 1d in the disciplines of Steel/Steel Works, Concrete/Concrete Works, Movable Works and Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering Research, and Hydraulic Engineering. Our collaboration allows us to apply our expertise required for the critical components of locks, bridges, weirs, and (water)ways. We offer a complete package: from inspection to advice, and from strategy to implementation.
